Most people just react automatically to words without even having the correct definition of them. "Incel", "pedophile", "atheist", "misogynist", etc, people hear those words and automatically recoil in disgust without even wanting to know if it's true or not or what exactly the word is describing in that context (example: both a guy who violently rapes a newborn baby to death and the want to gives a rose to a 15 years old developed foid and says that he finds her pretty are described by the word "pedophile" nowadays).
